Saverio Gabrielli is an Italian violinist of international acclaim, renowned for the depth of his
interpretations and the versatility of his repertoire. After graduating in Verona and perfecting his
artistry under Ilya Grubert at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, he has collaborated with
distinguished artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Arvo Pärt, Richard Stoltzman, Gautier Capuçon,
Giovanni Sollima, Uto Ughi, performing across Europe, Asia and Africa in prestigious venues
including Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw.
He has held prominent positions in ensembles such as I Cameristi della Scala, LaFil - Filarmonica
di Milano, I Virtuosi Italiani and Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, and served as concertmaster of the
Dutch ensemble The String Soloists. In 2021, together with guitarist Lorenzo Bernardi, he released
the album Due Italiani a Vienna, featuring the world-première recording of Spohr/Diabelli’s Grand
Duo op. 11, broadcast by Rai Radio3.
Graduated in Musicology at the Free University of Bolzano, he is a passionate teacher. He regards
teaching as a creative act and a form of sharing: guiding young musicians on a journey of discovery,
weaving together curiosity, discipline and a deep love of art.
He performs on a 1642 violin by Franciscus Joseph Cappa and is an official endorser of Corelli
Solea strings.
